This association, as an independent and professional organization for Neuroscience, was formed in order to protect the rights of its members, advance their professional knowledge and ethical values, with the aim of improving medical services and the health system in the interest of the patient. 

The association, through its bodies, has the duty to actively monitor the entire health process in the country, the health organization in state institutions, health organizations, private and public institutions, and to monitor the implementation of laws from the health sphere in order to preserve and well-being of patient's health. 

Members I shoqatës së Kosovës për Neuroshkencë mundë të jetë çdo profesionist që mirret me Neuroshkencë dhe ka interes të miret me Neuroshkencë. 

The association, has the task of continuously organizing professional and scientific advancement with various lectures, professional meetings, solemn academies, symposia, conferences and congresses at the national and international level, all this in the function of professional and scientific advancement. The association has started to create the first links and to join the well known Associations for Neuroscience such as: Brain Research in Neuroscience, Center for Research in Neuroscience, Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, American Neurological Association, Canadian Association for Neuroscience, British Neuroscience Association, The Japan Neuroscience Society. In the future, we are expected to create connections with other associations and organizations.
